Hello. Thank you fro looking at me. My name is Pugsley. I came to FOP from a shelter, so there is not a lot known about my past. As you can see I am an adorable little guy. I am a little shy, and my foster mom says I need someone to help me gain my confidence. She thinks I would be best in a home with adults or older children. I understand the younger ones are quite active, and to be honest that scares me. A word from my foster mom: Pugsley is a very dear little man. He is shy. We are working with him on house training. We believe that he was severely neglected or even worse ignored in his former home. He is what we call a marker, and will lift his leg on everything he can. We believe this is a result of him not having been taught what it is like to be a loved family member. But, as we said we are working on this and progress is being made. Pugsley walks well on a leash. He is a bit stiff at times, but we think this may be due to his age catching up with him. He does great with our other dogs. Although he has had all his shots and is already neutered he is not quite ready to be adopted. We want to get his confidence up and get the house training better under control before he is adopted to his furever home.
