Who We Are:
We have been working for 6 years now to save abused, abandoned, neglected and homeless parrots. If you have a bird big or small that you can no longer keep, please feel free to contact us. We specialize in birds with behavior problems such as aggression and feather plucking issues. No bird adopted out from Lair of Dragons Bird Rescue can be used for breeding or entertainment purposes. All birds will continue to be monitored once placed in a new home. Application must be filled out and verified before you are able to adopt a bird from us. We spend months or years working with these birds and they will only go to qualified, loving homes that will be monitored by us. We are trying to put a end to this because of the abuse and neglect they face. All birds deserve a chance for a happy, healthy life with a family that will love and care for them. There are many birds that can not be adopted out, in this case they will remain with us in a family style atmosphere where they will be protected from becoming endangered or abused. Keep in mind many people give up birds because of behavior problems that may be fixable, if you are having a problem with your bird, please contact us and we will try and help you work through the problem if we can, so that you may keep your feathered companion.
